Rose & Womble Realty Company celebrated our Past, Present, and Future at the July 9th All-Company Meeting held in Chesapeake. The event was a combination of rally, education, and trade show.
The morning started with a trade show that featured several businesses and companies that have affiliated with Rose & Womble.
Agents were able to network and learn about new services with these fine vendors and companies.

The general session featured a presentation of profit sharing checks to agents and managers throughout the company. These checks were valued at over $210,000 and were the second distribution of the profit sharing program.
Mitchell Kucy, son of Jean Kucy from our Holland Road Office, was recognized as the recipient of the Internal Scholarship presented by the Rose & Womble Foundation. The Rose & Womble Foundation also manned a table to allow agents to sign up for automatic donations during closings and they collected non perishable food items for Prince of Peace Food Pantry.
Resale Division President, Ron Foresta and New Homes Division President Van Rose gave the crowd a year-to-date presentation of the company. They highlighted the Accounting department’s upgrade to LoneWolf software, the diversification of marketing efforts, the impact of the Online Sales Counselor in New Homes, and the many ways that Rose & Womble provides leads to resale agents. Ron Foresta also took a trip down memory lane, showing off a treasure trove of photos from various events and parties the company has hosted over the years.
After that the agents were able to choose between four breakout sessions for further education. Greenbrier Resale Office Managing Broker. David Drogus hosted a session entitled, “Are You Smarter that Your Smart Phone?” The session highlighted ways agents could boost the second half of their 2014 by using prospecting techniques designed to increase listing opportunities. Another popular choice was the session called “New Tools and Tricks to add Value to Your Business” was hosted by Director of IT, Vargis Mathews and Special Projects Marketing Manager, Ramona Rice. That session showed off new social media sharing capabilities added to RoseandWomble.com which enable marketing and IT to track what and where items are being shared from Rose & Womble’s website. Vargis also highlighted the great uses of Google Drive.
Tim Good from Advance Financial Group and Derrick Smith of United Credit Education Service hosted a session called, “Demystifying The Mortgage Process & Helping YOUR Customers Clean-up Their Credit.” This session highlighted changes in the mortgage process and introduced agents to the services of United Credit Education Service. Rose & Womble New Homes Managers Butch Boykin and Terry Gearheart led the final session, “The Top 10 Myths of Selling New Homes.” This session was filled with excellent questions as the men explained to resale agents the benefits of bringing clients to a New Homes community.
