As if that isn’t cool enough, each new homes builder sponsors the dog by paying for its adoption fees once a suitable owner is found!

Today I am here at my very own home for #AskJenLive! I will be covering the “nuances” of cooking and entertaining in an older home, plus I will feature some of my dream kitchens!
Based on my personal experience of living in an older home, I can tell you first-hand that these are things a newly constructed kitchen would provide.

Here is one of my favorite kitchens by our builder HAV, INC., from Augusta at Centerville Commons in Chesapeake. This kitchen features granite counter tops, Delta Faucets, stainless steel Kenmore Appliances and a spacious layout with island and eat-in breakfast area.
Cooking for a large group can be tough without sufficient counter space, anyone agree?
Another of my favorites is the kitchen and entertaining space at Saddlebrook Estates in Suffolk, built by Hearndon Construction. Some of the standard kitchen features include 42” kitchen top cabinets, stainless steel, self-cleaning electric range, granite counter tops and stained birch cabinets
No matter how hard you try, everyone always gathers in the kitchen!
Rounding out my favorite featured kitchens is the space created by Bishard Homes in their homes in Ranier Village at Ashville Park. These beautiful kitchens feature stainless steel Kenmore Appliances, Delta Faucets, stainless steel under mount sinks granite counter tops, a large eat-in breakfast area and more!
