Hampton Roads Fall Events and Festivals Calendar

One of the best things about living in Hampton Roads is that there are so many fun things to do, especially when the air gets a little bit crisp and the leaves start changing. Fall is a wonderful time to be in the 757, and we’ve compiled the best list of Fall Events and Fun Festivals for you.

Haunted Halloween Festival – throughout October Hunt Club Farm in Virginia Beach will host its annual Halloween extravaganza. This is an incredibly popular event for many residents of Hampton Roads and it includes a haunted hayride and a village of zombies.

Virginia Children’s Festival – October 3rd at Town Point Park in Norfolk. This 27th annual event is a filled with tons of family friendly fun.

Fall Festival of Folklife – October 3rd at Newport News Park, Newport News, VA. Southeast Virginia’s biggest traditional craft show features over 200 vendors, traditional crafts and trades, folk entertainment, food vendors, and children’s activities.

Bacon, Bourbon, & Beach Music Fest – October 3rd Windsor Castle Park, Smithfield. Bourbon and craft beer tastings, plus each attendee gets a 1/2 pound of bacon to doctor up.

Yorktown Market Days and Fall Festival – October 10th, Yorktown Riverfront.  Children’s activities, cooking demonstrations, and local shops.

Suffolk Peanut Fest – October 8-11th, Suffolk Executive Airport. For 38 years, this festival honors the agricultural history of the City of Suffolk. Lots of food, crafts, and entertainment for the whole family.

Virginia Wine Festival – October 17-18. Town Point Park in Norfolk. Tons of Virginia wine to taste and enjoy.

Driver Days Fall Festival – October 17-18. Driver, Virginia. Monster truck rides, a 5K, and a pet costumer contest are just some of the many events crammed into this action packed festival.

Gloucester Wine Festival – October 24. Gloucester, Virginia. Local wines and food will be the feature stars of this festival.
