Our New Homes Specialist, Jen Barkan, is proud to host a weekly social media chat called #AskJenLive! Every Wednesday, Jen brings an adoptable dog with her while she features an available new home or new homes community on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. As if that isn’t cool enough, each new construction builder that participates in the program sponsors the dog by paying for its adoption fees once a suitable owner is found! Jen is 100% committed to finding people and pets their forever homes in Hampton Roads and beyond! She has five dogs of her own at home, and each one is a very special member of the Barkan household!
This past Wednesday, I had the opportunity to visit Hearndon Construction’s newest community, Foxfield Meadows. It is located off Pitchkettle Road in Suffolk, VA and it is truly a hidden gem! A few months have passed since I last drove through this community and it has truly transformed into an oasis that is a little bit off the beaten path but close to all of the conveniences of the city.
In the morning, I went to the Norfolk SPCA and picked up my friend, Romeo. Romeo is a handsome Boxer mix who is approximately 7 years old and completely unaware of his age! When Romeo was transferred to the Norfolk SPCA, he had a mass on his front right leg that required for it to be amputated. Romeo has adjusted incredibly well, and he is a super affectionate pup. He tried to sit on my lap while I was driving, and cuddle. This amazing dog is available for adoption and if he is adopted within the next few weeks, Hearndon Construction will pay his adoption fees for him to be in a new home.
Driving in, my eyes were met by the clean, white fence surrounding the property on the left, and the large homesites with lush, green grass. The gorgeous fall flowers really made the Keswick Sales Model pop!
