Our latest episode of #AskJenLive featured some of Rose & Womble’s New Home communities in North Suffolk. which includes the section of Suffolk that is closest to Smithfield, the Peninsula, Norfolk and Portsmouth. Called Route 17 and Bridge Road, this corridor has some popular spots including Bennett’s Creek Farm Market, and A. Dodson’s. Both of these businesses are local favorites.
Since Jen was visiting an entire area of Hampton Roads, she was able to visit three distinctive communities with great homes.
Bob White Landing
Located off of Shoulder’s Hill Road, Bob White Landing is another Napolitano Homes community that is impressive. This neighborhood feels private but still within minutes of everything your family needs. Bob White Landing is an all-brick home community with large lots.
The Sorrento plan is the home Jen visited and it is stunning. Four bedrooms and three and half baths with over 3,000 square feet including a master retreat in it’s own wing. Family room with a great sun room, and huge kitchen with granite countertops. Napolitano Homes is known in our area for being focused on helping home owners ‘love where they live.’ This home plan is new for 2015 and is designed with today’s buyers in mind.
Parkside at Bennett’s Creek
As the 2014 Tidewater Builder’s Association Homearama community, Parkside at Bennett’s Creek is a beautiful neighborhood. We love our featured home built by Christopher Kait Construction which was the Armed Forces home during the show. This is an open and inviting family style home. The wrap-around porch is perfect for sitting in rocking chairs sipping iced tea. Four bedrooms, three and half baths with a downstairs office with doors leading to the porch. The kitchen is lovely, with beautiful custom cabinets and it opens to the family room. The master bedroom features a wonderful ceiling.
Best part about this home is that because it was featured in Homearama it includes a ton of bells and whistles that are typically upgrades. These include, built-in speakers in the ceiling, backyard pond, and gas fire pit with seating and a wonderful outdoor kitchen. This home is designed with entertaining in mind with all of these great features.
The Armed Forces house was built by Christopher Kait Construction which focuses on unique design and great craftsmanship.
Governor’s Pointe
The final stop on Jen’s tour was the great New Home’s community of Governor’s Pointe. Located on the Nansemond River, this location has one of the best restaurants in the area, Vintage Tavern, which is one of Jen’s personal favorites.
The home Jen visited is the Grayson model, with just under 3,400 square feet, five bedrooms, and three and a half baths. The gourmet kitchen includes upgraded appliances and cabinets with tons of extras including energy-saving design. HHHunt is the builder of this house, and they are known for producing beautiful homes at great prices.
The community of Governors Pointe includes a bocce court, pool with sun deck, and walking trails.
Ask Jen Pup of the Week
No Ask Jen Live would be complete without a guest from the Norfolk SPCA No-Kill Adoption Center. This week Jen’s Pup of the Week was Quinn a one-year-old terrier mix who charmed her way into the hearts of our New Homes team. Check out Quinn with Sales Manager Butch Boykin.
Quinn is being sponsored by Christopher Kait Construction, who will pay for her adoption fees if she is adopted within two weeks of the Ask Jen Live segment. Quinn loved sitting next to the french doors in the Armed Forces house.
